Ya Ba is the bed-doom alter ego of LA/Iowa City based musician Tommy Santee Klaws. Ya Ba has released three albums since 2014: Self-titled, OX, and Black Bag. The sound has been described as "cinematic doom with alien vocals- too distant to pinpoint their language of origin." The latest, Black Bag, was recorded in Chiang Dao, Thailand, Los Angeles, and Iowa City, and is accompanied by a film by Davy Walker and Tommy.
